London to Brighton Run 2002

I almost didn't make L2B 2002, due to MOL's crash the weekend before. Luckily, Dan, a friend (and fellow mini nutter) from back home came to the rescue! I swapped my ticket over to his registration number, and we went down in his Italian Job mini. We also met up with Minis of Tamworth and we went down to London in convoy with four of their member's cars! We went down on Saturday afternoon, and camped at Crystal Palace Park on Saturday night. I was well impressed at the lack of the forecasted rain! We got up ridiculously early on Sunday morning and had a look around some of the cars that had arrived before starting the run to Brighton. Being in the first row at London, we got to Brighton for about 10:30am, and the weather soon brightened up even more, providing a lovely sunny afternoon for the show! It was nice to see some new metal at the show, as well as all the old favourites. One of my favourite cars was a mental Vauxhall powered hornet racer. Insane! Anyway, here's some of the pics I took.
